17 trekkers go missing in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur district

Amid the reports of several landslides in the mountainous region of Himachal Pradesh, as many as 17 trekkers have been reported missing in the Kinnaur district. The trekkers had left for Chitkul from Harshil on October 14 but they went missing as the weather became unfriendly from October 17 to 19 in Lamkhaga pass. A quick response team has been sent to the spot in search of trekkers. The help of ITBP has also been sought.
