A 500-year-old well has been discovered in the enclosure of a gurdwara on the Kartarpur corridor. It is being said that the well is from Guru Nanak Dev's time, who is the founder of Sikhism. The discovery will help in the easy passage of Sikh pilgrims to the historic Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan. Digging work was on at the enclosure of Gurdwara Dera Sahib , some 125 kilometers from Lahore when the discovery was made.
