21 Indian cities will lose access to groundwater by 2020: NITI Ayog

Talking about the water resources in India, the situation has become very tense. Even if now the steps are not taken people will start dying due to thirst. A report released by the NITI Ayog has stated that by 2020, 21 Indian cities including Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru will run out of groundwater leaving 100 million people affected. It also said that 40% of India's population would have no drinking water by 2030.
