In Uttarakhand, Kanwariyas tried to outwit authorities by entering in ordinary clothing, but they failed terribly. Hundreds of pilgrims in ordinary clothing are attempting to enter Haridwar to collect Ganga water, according to a story in The Times of India. As a result, officials dispatched 28 special buses to eight train stations to transport them back. 240 pilgrims were escorted out the state on special buses and trains on Monday alone.
