A fine worth A$3.6 million ($2.5 million) was imposed on the owner of Australia's biggest theme park for safety failures after four people died on a popular water ride in 2016. The incident involved the deaths of two women and two men after their rafts collided on the Thunder River Rapids ride at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast.
