The authorities at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka found a cylinder-shaped bomb weighing around 250kg while digging at the under-construction third terminal of the airport. The bomb was first spotted by some construction workers nearly three metres deep in the ground. The bomb was identified as a GP bomb by Air Force's Bomb Disposal Unit and it appeared to be a World War II bomb. It was later diffused.
