Maharashtra surpasses Kerala with the most number of coronavirus cases in India. The total is 26, of which 10 are in Pune, 5 in Mumbai, 4 in Nagpur, 2 in Yavatmal and 1 each in Navi Mumbai, Kalyan, Thane, Panvel and Ahmed Nagar. Most of the patients had returned from the UAE, France and the US, with their average age 40. The government has issued a notification to close down schools and colleges till March end.
