26 Myanmar nationals arrested by Assam police from Guwahati, forged documents recovered

As many as 26 Myanmar nationals were arrested by the Assam Police from a city lodge in the capital city Guwahati on Sunday. The Myanmar nationals were held with several forged Indian documents including Aadhaar cards, Voter ID cards etc. According to Assam Police CPRO Rajib Saikia, the arrested persons hailed from the Chin state of Myanmar. A raid was conducted at Kamrupa Lodge at the Rehabari area to nab 16 males and 10 females.
