27 Indian soldiers killed, 159 injured due to faulty ammunitions by Ordnance factories since 2014

The Indian Army has revealed that the poor quality of ammunition from ordnance factories is resulting in the death or injury of an Indian soldier every month. According to an internal report that the army submitted to the Ministry of Defence, 13 army personnel got injured due to faulty ammunitions in 2020. As many as 27 soldiers got killed while 159 were left injured due to the faulty ammunitions since 2014.
