As many as three people got injured after a sixth-grade girl opened fire at a school in the northwestern US state of Idaho. The incident happened at Rigby Middle School near Idaho Falls. According to Jefferson County sheriff Steve Anderson, the girl "retrieved a handgun from her backpack, fired multiple rounds inside of the school and out". She was disarmed by a teacher after injuring two students and one staff member.
