30 million frontline workers to get shots during first phase of vaccination

The Union Health Ministry has said that the government is looking to vaccine 30 million people including 7 million doctors and paramedics during the first phase of the vaccination that has been scheduled between January and June 2021. "We have more than 28,000 cold storages already existing across the country that are used to store several vaccines administered under the program," said Rajesh Bhushan, Union health secretary.
