While presenting data on the number of families shifted from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy said: "A total of 31,619 displaced families from Pok got registered after 1947 and of them, 26,319 families settled in the erstwhile state of J&K." Reddy said that both the central government and the government of J&K have been providing relief to all such displaced families.
