34-year-old Indian-origin UN official enters the race to be UN Secretary-General

Arora Akanksha, a 34-year-old Indian-origin employee at the UN has announced her candidacy to be its next Secretary-General. Akansha is the first person to enter the race to be the next UN chief against incumbent Antonio Guterres, who is apparently eyeing another term. She works as an audit coordinator for the United Nations Development Programme. "We deserve a UN that leads progress," Arora Akansha says.
