40 Punjab godowns raided by CBI, samples of rice and wheat stocks seized

The Central Bureau of Investigation raided as many as 40 warehouses in Punjab ad seized samples of rice and wheat stocks. Paramilitary personnel accompanied CBI officials during the raid. The Central agency raided godowns belonging to the Punjab Grains Procurement Corporation, Punjab Warehousing, and a few of the Food Corporation of India (FCI). Samples of the stocks that were procured in 2019-20 and 2020-21 were seized.
