The National Aeronautics and Space Association has shared a picture on Instagram revealing the solution to another of Jupiter's riddles. According to NASA, ions responsible for X-ray emissions are able to reach Jupiter's atmosphere by surfing electromagnetic waves in the planet's magnetic field. NASA combined data from its Juno mission with the European Space Agency's XMM-Newton spacecraft to reach its conclusion.
