42 Bangladesh nationals staying illegally in Assam deported by state government

42 Bangladeshi -- 33 men and 9 women --nationals who were living illegally in Assam, were deported by the Sarbananda Sonowal-led state government. The 42 Bangladeshi nationals had entered India without valid documents. The state government handed over the 42 Bangladeshi nationals to the authorities in Bangladesh at the Sutarkandi international border. All of them were declared illegal foreigners by the Foreigners’ Tribunals.
