62 pedestrians die everyday in India: Road accident report

Walking on Indian street is unsafe as the number of pedestrians killed on the roads increased by 84% between 2014 and 2018, resulting in daily fatalities to go up from 34 in 2014 to 62 in 2018, according to the road accident report of the Union transport ministry. According to the road safety experts, the first rights of the pedestrians on the road haven't given preference while preparing traffic movement plans in the country.
