The huge West Antarctic Ice Sheet is on the verge of falling apart, and it will take something unthinkable to save it–like blowing 7.4 trillion tons of artificial snow on top of it. That's what a new study into how the destabilization of the ice sheet could be stopped has suggested. Scientists have predicted if the West Antarctic Ice Sheet collapses it will lead to sea level rises of almost 10 feet worldwide.
