In 2011, a massive Tsunami hit Japan after a 9.1 earthquake and claimed the life of more than 29,000 people. Recently the divers found barred knifejaw fish in Monterey Bay, California which is more than 5,000 miles away from Japan. Tsunami and earthquake had disturbed the marine life in a massive way and 289 species were displaced during that time. The Barred knifejaw fish is extremely valuable in Japan for food and games.
