80-year old Chinese army veteran allowed to visit family in India

An 80-year old Chinese army veteran, who was captured on Indian soil in 1963 and later returned to China, has been granted a visa to visit his Indian wife and children. Wang Qi, who is a surveyor of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), was caught when he entered Indian territory after the India-China war in 1962. Qi had spent six years in Indian jails before being released where he decided to raise a family in Madhya Pradesh.
