Top infectious disease scientist Dr. Anthony Fauci expressed his delight over the fact that the Moderna vaccine proved 94.5% effective against the infectious disease. “The idea that we have a 94.5 percent effective vaccine is stunningly impressive. It is really a spectacular result that I don’t think anybody had anticipated would be this good," Fauci said while adding that he would've been happy with even 70% efficacy.
