Irmgard Furchner, a 96-year-old former secretary at a concentration camp will go on trial in Germany. Furchner is charged with complicity in the murders of more than 10,000 people at the Stutthof camp in occupied Poland. She is one of the first women to be prosecuted for Nazi-era crimes in decades. Furchner was aged between 18 and 19 when she worked in the camp. She has been accused of assisting in systematic murder of detainees.
