Kankaria lake named India's first clean street food hub

A certification process started in 2017 by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), based on parameters like overall cleanliness, garbage disposal, personal hygiene, pest control, demarcation of cooking and non-cooking areas, has certified the food hub at Kankaria lake in Ahmedabad as India's first clean street food place. FSSAI is going to add 150 more of such food hubs to the list within one year.
