The Indian Supreme Court gave a big win to LGBT community and activists by decriminalising gay sex today. Pointing out the irrationality of the part of Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code that criminalises unnatural sex, Chief Justice Dipak Misra legalised gay sex, which now places India with the other 25 nations including Spain, Australia, Canada, Argentina, Iceland, the United States, where homosexuality is legal.
