UK blames Russian govt for Novichok poisoning, world leaders lend support

A joint statement was issued by leaders of France, Germany, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, backing UK's allegations against the Russian government for sending GRU officers Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov to poison former Russian spy Sergei Skripal, 66 and his daughter Yulia, 33 using a chemical nerve agent called Novichok, in Salisbury on March 4.
