A community in Chennai collected 30,000 ltrs of rainwater

There have been many articles on the scarcity of water India is going to face in 2020. Taking the articles serious while govt is yet to take steps, a community in Chennai already started working on it. A family, in Sabari Terrace, use only rainwater for 3 months a year with no piped water supply in the area. As the city received its 1st rain on Saturday, 56 families there collected 30,000 ltr in an hour by harvesting rain.
