Researchers from University of Cambridge, University College London and Lund University have designed an antibody to identify toxic particles that damage healthy brain cells. It’s a huge break in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Their method can recognize the toxic particles amyloid-beta oligomers which are the hallmark of Alzheimer's. With this model, new diagnostic methods can be developed for the disease.
