Matt Everard from Essex set a speed of 119.583 kmph (74.306 mph) at Elvington Airfield near York; Guinness World Records gave him a target of 110 kmph (68.35 mph). He is over the moon at his achievement of new tuk-tuk land speed record. He bought tuk-tuk for 3000 pounds & modified it by swapping 350 cc engine with a 1300 cc fuel-injected Daihatsu powerplant. The record for a tuk-tuk is new for Guinness World records.
