Aadhaar is proving to be useful for mentally ill people to get back home

Arun Tiwari from Madhya Pradesh was missing from last 3 months and was seen at Yeshwantpur railway station by an NGO. He is suffering from severe mental disability. The NGO sent him to govt.-run home for mentally challenged boys. The officials tracked his family through Aadhaar. He is among other 16 mentally ill boys whose families were traced through Aadhaar since 2017. All of them were missing and were rescued by NGOs.
