The British-American actor who played 'Chewbacca' in StarWars trilogy 'Peter Mayhew' passed away at his home in Texas with his family by his side. He was 74. He had played a giant Wookiee warrior Chewbacca in the original trilogy beginning in 1977 as well as later films until 2015. Mayhew had put his heart & soul into the film that showed in every frame. His family said star wars family meant so much to him than just a role.
