The government has been continuously urging the citizens to wear masks to prevent the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. However, some people still don't find it convenient to wear a mask. Harshad Patel, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic control) said Ahmedabad Police collected Rs. 18.41 crores as fine from over 3.13 lakh people for not wearing masks. Over 1,400 police personnel tested positive for Covid in the state.
