Airforce launches massive rescue operation in Uttarakhand to find 17 stranded tourists, 11 bodies recovered

A day after reports of 17 trekkers losing their way in Uttarakhand's Lamkhaga Pass, the Indian Airforce has launched a massive search operation to know their whereabouts. As many as 11 dead bodies have been recovered so far from the area. Two Advanced Light Helicopters have been deployed by the Airforce for the rescue operation. The National Disaster Response Force is assisting the airforce in the rescue operation.
