School in Guwahati sets an example: Accepts Plastic Wastes as School Fees

Guwahati’s Akshar School has taken environmental awareness to the next level by asking children to get plastic wastes as school fees. Young Couple (Mazin & Parmita) opened this school in 2016. Children deposit 10 to 20 plastic items per week, creating awareness against the usage of plastic. School is unique in their curriculum too, mainly directing to poverty-stricken with lessons on mathematics, science and so on.
