Alert issued over suspected case of bubonic plague in Chinese city

While the world is still fighting the deadly coronavirus, a level 3 alert has been issued in a city in northern China after a suspected case of bubonic plague was reported. The case was reported in Bayannur, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. A warning period till 2020 end has been announced by the health authorities. The health officials have also warned people against eating Marmot meat. 2 confirmed cases were reported in Khovd.
