The alert level has been raised to the highest in Japan's capital Tokyo after the discovery of severe Covid-19 strain in the hospitals. Almost all the hospital beds in Tokyo are full due to the rising cases of the pandemic in the city. Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike attended a meeting comprising top health officials who said it was getting difficult to balance the care of Covid-19 patients with regular ones.
