Amsterdam-Delhi flight turns back mid-air with 100 Indians as India denies permission to land

A KLM flight from Amsterdam to Delhi had to turn around mid-air after the confusion about coronavirus regulations. The flight had about 100 Indians on board. India had imposed a bar on flights from Europe due to the pandemic and also a week-long ban on all incoming international commercial flights comes into force. One of the passengers said that the announcement of flying back was made over Russia around 4 hours into the flight.
