Andaman and Nicobar islands hit by 4.0 magnitude earthquake

The Andaman and Nicobar Island was hit by an earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on Wednesday. According to India's National Center for Seismology, the earthquake was reported near Diglipur. The epicentre of the earthquake was 90 km south-southeast of Diglipur, Andaman and Nicobar island. First tremors were felt at around 4:56 AM at a depth of 80 km. No damage to property or life was reported due to the earthquake.
