Andhra government to start plasma donation campaign after Covid-19 cases surpass 5-lakh mark

The total count of the novel coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh has gone beyond 5 lakh. The YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led state government is going to start a plasma donation campaign wherein the donor to get Rs 5000. According to an estimate, more than 37,000 people are eligible for the plasma donation in the state. Nearly 75,000 Covid19 tests are being conducted in the state daily. A database of the donors has been prepared.
