Labour MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi has demanded an apology from Prime Minister Boris Johnson for comparing burqa-wearing Muslim women to robbers and letterboxes. Dhesi was referring to an article which was written by the British PM in the 'Daily Telegraph' last year. Dhesi said that Johnson's remarks had hurt the sentiments of vulnerable women. A study showed that since Johnson's remarks, Islamophobic incidents have increased.
