The Supreme Court of India has launched an app for journalists that will enable them to report virtual hearings without having to visit court premises amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The app was launched by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana and the virtual app launch event was attended by Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud. “Transparency is a fundamental principle of our legal framework," CJI Ramana said.
