Apple bans Facebook's research app that uses data

An angered Apple has banned Facebook and has also blocked the Facebook's Research VPN app before they could shut it down themselves. Apple says Facebook broke an agreement made with Apple by publishing an app that allowed the social media giant to collect all kinds of personal data related to users such as app history, private messages, and location data. It also paid users a monthly fee along with bonuses.
