Apple has started to host the Chinese users ‘iCloud accounts’ in a new Chinese data centre so that the Chinese authorities can get access to messages, email and other data on the cloud. This decision is taken as per the new rules there. After the US, China is another country to get cryptographic keys stored in Chinese accounts. That means, Chinese authorities need not seek U.S. courts for information on iCloud users.
