Around 117 million children face measles risk from coronavirus response: UN

At a time, when people all over the world are busy fighting coronavirus, the United Nations has warned that around 117 million children worldwide risk contracting measles because dozens of countries are curtailing their vaccination programmes as they battle coronavirus. Currently 24 countries, including several already dealing with large measles outbreak, have suspended widespread vaccination, UNICEF and WHO said.
