The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has appointed joint general secretary Arun Kumar as the interface for political issues. Mr. Kumar replaces another joint general secretary Krishana Gopal. Mr. Gopal was holding the charge since 2015. Arun Kumar is also a coordinator with the BJP. The decision was taken in an ongoing meeting of RSS full-timers at Chitrakoot in Madhya Pradesh. RSS said it was a routine exercise.
