According to a report, Asia’s food and agricultural industry will need additional investments of $800 billion over the next decade to grow to a sustainable size and reach a point where it can feed itself. The Food sector will have to address challenges like changing consumer needs and climate change. To make the challenges even more difficult, there will be an addition of 250 million more people in Asia's population.
