Making a daughter-in-law to do household work is not anything unusual, the Kerala High Court said allowing a plea for divorce filed by a man against his wife. The woman had accused her mother in law for making her do all the domestic works and also treated her badly, so she asked her husband to leave her mother and stay with her separately, which the man disagreed and had therefore filed for divorce in the court.
