Assam man thrown out of a train in Andhra Pradesh over coronavirus fear

A 32-year-old man Mepal Basumatary was beaten and thrown out of the train while he was travelling from Bengaluru to Assam, his home state. According to reports, a miscreant beat him up and allegedly threw him off the train in the fear that he may cause coronavirus. The victim's wife alleged that he suffered injuries in the face, teeth and other parts of the body. Mepal is stranded in Srikakulam district without any money.
