Assam NRC: Over 1 L added to additional draft exclusion list

In Assam, over 1 lakh people, who were part of the final draft of the National Register of Citizens published in July last year, have now been found ineligible and added to the additional draft exclusion list, that got published on Wednesday. The last year’s draft, that got published on 30th July, had 2.89 crores of the 3.29 crore applicants include while over 40 Lakh were left to fight court cases.
