Real estate owned by Saad Group, which defaulted in 2009, will be auctioned to repay their 34 creditors including local, regional and international banks. Saad Group's billionaire owner Maan al-Sanea, who was ranked one of the World's 100 richest people in 2007, was arrested in 2017 for unpaid debts of $22 billion in these banks. The auctions will be carried out over five months by Etqaan Alliance.
