AstraZeneca's Covid19 vaccine reaches Phase 3 clinical trials in US

AstraZeneca has started the Phase 3 clinical trials of its Covid19 vaccine in United States. The drugmaker has enrolled nearly 30,000 adults for the trials. The volunteers will receive two doses of the experimental vaccine, dubbed AZD1222. The US-government is funding the vaccine development process. The vaccine candidate has already entered Phase 3 of clinical trials in Britain, Brazil and South Africa.
